Butterfly Garden

Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.  --John Muir

The Children's Memorial Butterfly Garden, located in the Glade area of the Glenn Sokol Trail, was started by Marlene and Tom Dyer to honor the memory of all children taken too soon.  The Friends of Tamanend maintain the garden.

Thanks to Pennscapes, the garden was refurbished in 2016.  Volunteers are always welcome to help maintain the garden throughout the summer by pulling a weed or two or watering when dry.

Come and enjoy the beauty of the summer flowers and butterflies.
